My work as an ADHD Coach is rooted in my experience using a creative writing practice to help me accept, embrace and work with ADHD, rather than trying to "fix" it in schools, work and life.
Writing showed me how to face my executive function challenges typical for ADHDers-disorganization, time management, distraction and more.

At the same time, writing simultaneously allowed me to harness creative strengths at the core of ADHD - a visionary mindset. spontaneous idea generation, hyperfocusing, and making connections between "big picture" worldviews.

"Yes, ADHD is a powerful force of pain and needles suffering in too many lives. But if mastered, it brings out talents you can neither teach nor buy. It is often the lifeblood of creativity and artistic talents. It is a driver of ingenuity and iterative thinking. It can be your special strength, even a bona fide superpower."
-Edward M. Hallowell, MD & John J. Ratey, MD
I'm an ADHD Coach, Journalist and Professor. I see all of my work as intimately and inherently interconnected.
